Coming Soon "Jerome' POP/R&B Singer


Throughout his childhood, Jerome has been surrounded by music famous the world over. Growing up in “Motown” means understanding that music is an integral part of every culture. Without an instrument to limit him, Jerome began to combine the influences of hometown greats like Aretha Franklin, Bob Seager and The Winans into a sound uniquely his. His undying passion for music has resulted in heartfelt lyrics…catchy melodies and an unforgettable, universal persona.

Jerome enrolled in the prestigious Detroit High School For The Performing Arts. As a classmate of Aaliyah, he studied many styles of music including opera, jazz, and classical. He even co-starred in a production of Carmen, playing the male lead Escamillo. The result of all these influences is an amazing ability to write songs in multiple genres from gospel to rock.

It was only a matter of time before his incredible talent caught the ear of some of music’s finest musicians. Award winning singer Nancy Jackson enlisted his nationally acclaimed gospel group to perform with her on an album. This caught the ear of Jennifer Holiday who hired him to perform with her during her performance at Detroit’s premier concert venue, The Fox Theatre. Quincy Jones then requested a performance by the group after hearing about their performance with Jennifer Holiday. Word began to spread and in very little time grammy award winning producer, Michael Powell, hired Jerome to arrange a song for Oleta Adams on a Christmas compilation album.

As Jerome has grown, his style has become more blended. He is finally ready to take on the world as a solo artist, performing a style of music call funky rock that brings together fans of pop, rock, and r&b. His skill and musical savvy are evident in the five original songs presented here and the hundreds
